Today Is Landon's Birthday!
i cannot believe my youngest is 14!
It's starting to get much cooler at night, so we decided to leave camp today and get a couple motel rooms on the beach strip. Pretty pricey, but worth it so we can take the doggos on the beach. At Anastasia the dogs aren't allowed on their beach, unless they're a service animal.
Everyone is doing amazingly well, and soaking in every second of this adventure together.
This morning I had a phone interview with a journalist for Caters News. I was so nervous and I don't think I got my message out very well, but I guess we will see what the story brings.
The sad fact is that pet theft affects millions each year. Something needs to be done, because microchipping isn't enough. In 2018 beloved Nova, a Husky-Malamute mix, who was microchipped, was taken to The Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan Wyoming, by the caregivers jealous ex, and they adopted her out to a resident in Sheridan, WY. Her chip was never scanned, and I was never alerted. Just left in the dark all this time, until April when I discovered through a Facebook search of her whereabouts.
Brennan and Luka are bonding more and more each day.
Atlas is thriving and loving Florida. His favorite is the beach and chasing lizards.
