I just keep sitting here every day so grateful to have him back. Last Christmas time I was so depressed. I was so angry and disgusted that a mother could steal from another mother. I couldn't fathom how she couldn't put herself in my shoes and how selfish she was. She will have to answer for her actions in another life. I hold no hatred, no ill will, no resentment even. A little sad that we missed out on almost 2 years of his already short doggo life, but overjoyed at the blessings we have received. My anxiety was HORRID during this time. I kept praying "Father please bring my baby back to me." over and over again. My anxiety still high, sick to my stomach and unable to eat, or relax enough to fall asleep, I changed my prayer. "Father, will I get my baby back? Will thou bless me with the gift of my fur baby back?" I was immediately washed over with a feeling of calm and comfort. I went to sleep that night with ease. I can't tell you how many sleepless nights I had during that time, but not that night. Heavenly Father answered my prayer. My direct question, He answered, and that in itself was the second blessing. The first being told there was even going to be a struggle in getting him back.
Moral of the story, trials happen for a reason, and it isn't to punish us. It's to help us grow...to become closer to our creator. You guys, He loves us...waaaaaay more than any of us can comprehend. If you are struggling, reach out to Him, he is waiting on you.
December has been full of blessings as we continue to settle in.
I tried a recipe for donuts, that Atlas deemed acceptable to take some sniffs of.
We did our Christmas a little early...ok A LOT early (oops 🤫)
We hope you enjoy these pics from December
Have a blessed day!
XOXO {Aimee} 😘
