We Finally Got to Take Atlas to the Beach ♥️

He loved every second of it!

Atlas is a beach dude through and through. He loved every second our time there, running through the waves and pouncing on them. He even made a friend on the beach. The sweetest yellow Labrador Retriever I've ever seen. She calmed Atlas's newfound anxiety; from being gone, with her presence alone.

September was full of adventure. We went camping at another place. Faver-Dykes at the edge of Saint Augustine, FL.

Interesting fact, The first 700 acres of this park was donated to the Florida state board of parks and historic memorials Decemeber 28th 1950 by Hiram Hall Faver in memory of his parents. It is known as a "classroom in the hammock" for all to enjoy and learn in an outdoor setting.

It was so peaceful there, good for the soul and the perfect way to spend my 43rd birthday! The nights were so much quieter than the last two places we camped at. Although I did miss the sounds of raccoons in the middle of the night at Anastasia campground.

It was filled with deer, foxes, tortoises, armadillos, and had great fishing. The only drawback to camping there, was the extra amount of rainfall, the ticks and the deer fly were horrendous.

Despite the bugs, I cannot wait to go back already! We have met some really awesome people, and made lifelong friends during this experience.

We went through our first hurricane. Hurricane Ian. Not gonna lie, I was scared, but we were safe and sound where we were. We left camping for the duration.

Prayers to those affected by his devastating winds and waves.

We hope you enjoy some pics of our adventures.

Have a blessed day!

XOXO {Aimee} 😘
