or lunch....or dinner
or all three. I could eat Biscuits and gravy probably a few times a week. Not that I should or do, but I could.
I had always wanted to try making biscuits when the kiddos were younger, but I was overwhelmed and every recipe I found said you had to make the dough the night before. As a momma to 6 kids under 6, that just wasn't happening.
Now that I am with a southern man, knowing how to make this staple was a natural next step in my baking journey. So I found a recipe that was easy to follow and is absolutely delicious. I have tried a lot of others, but for the sake of the purpose of this post, to spare you the time of trial and error of trying the not-so-great recipes, I did the work for you. You can thank me later by leaving a heart on this post if you tried it and liked it. This is one I will be leaving in my book of family recipes for my children.
A quick tip if you don't have time to freeze the butter and cut it. If you melt the butter and add it to cold milk, it will separate and create a similar effect with the butter. I have done it this way, and the way instructed in the recipe, both work great. Sometimes I'm just lazy or in a rush, and do it this way.
Lots of love and blessings to you!
XOXO {Aimee} 😘
