Some updates on our family

Have you heard of baker act?

We have had a few rough moments with Eric's mental health. For those that started following our story from the semi viral TikTok video that cause me to speak out about his mental health suffering, you know a lot of our struggles we have been going through. For those that don't, my fiance is a Navy veteran, and he has service related injuries that effect his mental health on the daily. That, along with a childhood that didn't really set him up for the best future, and a toxic ex that effected his self worth. On top of it, the impending court case has been a daily struggle for everyone. Having Atlas (my Siberian Husky) stolen has effected everyone's mental health a lot of ways.

Eric was baker acted for suicidal ideations. Two times in two weeks. He was in for a few days both times. We are just taking it one day at a time right now, and working toward a happier, healthier Eric.

We had our trial call May 28th, which we were expecting per the previous trial call, that we would be going to trial June 10th, but the court system is backed up still. So we now have another trial call July 7th. Not the news we were expecting or hoping to hear, BUT we finally have an official trial date!!! July 12th! Words can't describe the amount of anxiousness, stress, worry, and excitement I feel in my entire body. It's been SOOOO long without my little guy. I wish she would have given him back when we tried getting him. She has even offered to purchase him since this all began. Makes zero sense to me.

For those reading this that don't know what is going on. Back in August of 2020, after I was assured by the representative that we would be able to fly with Atlas, I purchased 8 tickets for my family and I to travel from Alaska to Florida to secure a home. I found out after purchase, that Atlas couldn't go, and they would not offer a refund on the tickets. My ex had agreed to watch Atlas for me, while I get things situated in Florida, and once the travel embargo was over. He didn't follow through with that, and met some woman on Facebook (allegedly) that he entrusted to care for my fluffy boy, without my knowledge or permission. She fell in love with him, and has refused to give him back. She claimed ownership to the police when we tried getting him back. So it turned into a she said/she said scenario, making it necessary to take it to court. So that's what we did, or are doing. I began looking for a lawyer the very night I found out her scheme, and it's been a waiting game since. BUT we are finally nearing the end of this and I can't wait to get him back! I know I will. It's been hard, but God gave me my answer in prayer.

Anyway, here are a few pics of May's adventures. Hope you enjoy! Lots of love and blessings to all ♥️

Have a blessed day!

XOXO {Aimee} 😘
