A few updates

I completely forgot to update on things, because I have been so wrapped up in enjoying my time with Atlas.

Brennan got a puppy! May I introduce you to Luka. Not like the movie Luca. Luka means, bringer of light. He is definitely a light in Brennan's life.

Eric's dad was having some health problems, so we visited him in Georgia, which is where we picked Bren's puppy up from

I saw a Piggly Wiggly for the first time

We went to Toccoa Falls (so pretty!)

We had Eric's birthday

The house we found was supposed to be ready the weekend after we picked Atlas up. That didn't happen. Before we left to Georgia, we were told it would be ready that weekend. Perfect timing! That didn't happen either.

After that, each time we reach out, "it should be ready in a week" is the response we get. So I'm going to start looking at other areas, and just enjoy the rest of the time camping while we look. We are super happy to continue our adventures, and so are the doggos. They are getting LOTS of socialization. Getting all kinds of sniffs in, and loving the chance to explore. We plan to work on getting a bus next year so we can travel around and keep the doggos cooler.

Georgia was so awesome, I didn't want to leave. I fell in love with the atmosphere, the scenery, and the food! The air didn't feel too much different than Florida, but the overall vibe is so much better in my opinion. And the food. We went to Ribeyes.....um YUM! I had the best steak I have ever had, and the people that work there are as nice as can be. I could move out there just for that alone. Even chain restaurants were better in Georgia.

Meeting Eric's dad was great. He's a good guy and easy to get along with. He was feeling much better by time we got there, so he showed us around a bit. We went to Toccoa Falls, as pictured in the cover of this post, as well as a few pics below. We went fishing, had dinner together and enjoyed good conversation.

Overall August was a fun, and busy month. Atlas is getting back his normal self every day. He does have severe separation anxiety from me. He's always prefered my company, and has always cried when I leave the room. But it's much worse now. I'll share some videos the girls took of his cries in another post.

Thank you for your love and support and taking the time to read. Hope you enjoy some photos from August ♥️

Have a blessed day!

XOXO {Aimee} 😘
